April 4, 2008 March Labor Report "Worst in Years"
Some are calling the employment situation for March, "the worst in years."
Unemployment rates rose for both adult men and women significantly for the month
of March. Over the past year the number of unemployed persons has increased by
1.1 million, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department
of Labor Employment Situation Summary.
While this labor report may seem discouraging to some applicants, we at All Star
Resume want to remind you to take this opportunity to stand out from the crowd.
These job losses require serious job seekers to show extra dedication to their
resumes and cover letters.
We remind you that we are here to help during this
difficult economic time and have a unique perspective on the job market. Give us
a call at 888-55-EDITS if you are wondering how you can rise above the applicant
pool and truly stand out.
