Screening Interviews are usually focused on a few questions to find out if you would fit a company's culture and
have basic job requirements. Also, you might be asked about your salary requirement to see if you're asking price matches
a given salary range. Most often these are performed by human resource representatives, who will pass on a yea/nay vote up
the ranks. Often, screening interviews are quick and performed over the phone.
Informational Interviews are another prelude to a job interview with decision makers.
During the informational
interview, your questions are likely to be evaluated in terms of your interest in the company and your experience. Aim to
ask insightful questions about the organization, such as its future direction and strategic plans. Also, ask about the company's
human resources needs to fulfill its growth plans. This might provide you with a platform to discuss how your skills and abilities
will help them realize their goals.
