Silicon Valley Remains Unfazed by Internet's Growth

Given all the hoopla surrounding the Internet’s growth, you might believe that it is now possible to work anywhere you would like so long as you have a reliable high speed connection to the Net. Well, at least in the world of high tech start ups seeking capital, Silicon Valley is still king despite its higher costs of doing business. Its unique blend of venture capitalists and talented labor pool continue to attract the fast-growth companies in need of external capital.

So, while it remains very feasible to work from wherever a reliable Internet connection can be found, if you’re seeking your riches in the fast-paced world of high tech start ups, there remains a good chance you’ll have to continue to do so in the Bay Area.
